creole spice 'mix' with red rice

Creole spice
1/4 cup sweet Hungarian paprika
1/4 cup dried basil
1/4 cup dried tyme
4 tbsp. cayenne pepper
3 tbsp. file powder
3 tbsp. chil powder

Place ingrediants in glass jar and shake well.
 1 cup  white rice
1/4 cup onion
2 cloves minced garlic
2tblsp cookoing oil
1/8 cup diced celery
1/8 cup diced pepper
2tbsp copped jalepeno peppers
 tbsp tomato paste
1/4 cup corn
1/4 cup cooked black beans
1/8 cup cilantro
1/4 cup spice mix
S&P to taste
2 tbsp butter
sweat diced onion, and garlic, saute a minute, add celery, cook..then add peppers. Next add spice and stir, add tomato paste and cook a minute. Add rice and cook a couple of minutes. Add  1 1/4w cup hot water.  Followed by corn, beans,  salt and white pepper (1/4 tsp.). Bring to boil then let simmer on low heat twenty minutes. Add 2 tbsp butter and serve hot.
